Baking is art, but what about bakeware ? Yes they can be admired as art objects if you choose products of great design and color. Just hang them on your wall, the one next to the other. A great idea for those who love baking and purchasing kitchen accessories!

I love magazines. I love fashion. And as you've guessed "The Devil Wears Prada" is one of my favorite movies. I have probably watched it about 30 times, and I can now say with certainty that I have memorized every single line of the film. But there are a few of those lines that I find myself using in my everyday life; they are funny, witty and up to the point....
So here are my Top 10 The Devil Wears Prada Quotes:
1. That's all! (Miranda)
2. The details of your incompetence do not interest me. (Miranda)
3. Please bore someone else with your questions. (Miranda)
4. Alright everyone, gird your loins! (Nigel)
5. You are in desperate need of Chanel. (Nigel)
6. I'm sorry, do you have some prior commitment? Some hideous skirt covention you have to go to? (Emily)
7. Florals? For Spring? Groundbreaking... (Miranda)
8. I'm on this new diet. Well, I don't eat anything and when I feel like I'm about to faint I eat a cube of cheese. (Emily)
9. You don't deserve them [the couture clothes], I mean you eat carbs, for Chrissake! (Emily)10. You know what they say... Tiny man. Huge ego. (Nigel)
Which is your favourite film line?

All those Eames chairs in wonderful colours, the one next to the other in a huge and gorgeous dining room...is it paradise with gray walls? Mental note: Break the rules, there is really no need to have same - coloured chairs in a room.

These heels are everywhere; and when I say everywhere I mean it. You see them at fashion shows, tv shows, on fashion blogs, at the street, in most online and brick-and-mortar stores... Alexander Wang's Anais metallic loafer pumps have caused a stir and are now a must-have for the fashion crowd. And even though I'm not a big fan of loafer pumps, these metallic pairs have made it into my wish list. And with $650 they could make the transition from my wish-list to my wardrobe too.

Yes, I admit it; I have fallen in love with Peter Mikic's house. The Australian born designer who found a gorgeous townhouse in Notting Hill in a less-than-gorgeous condition decided to take the leap and work hard to restore its former glory. “We ripped it apart,” Mikic explains in Elle Decor magazine. “At one point, there were only three walls left standing. You could see up to the roof from the ground floor.” When it came time to decorate, Mikic had a vision. “I wanted the house to look as though Claridge’s hotel had been transported to 1950s Milan". “I love the idea of combining the luxury of a hotel with unique, personal details”. Couldn't agree more. Read the rest of the article and find more photos here.

I love mustard, it's such a rich colour! It can be worn or used during all seasons and it works quite well with other hues such as light yellow, red, pink, grey, beige or brown. Have I mentioned that I find myself using it quite a lot in my art prints (see item no.4) lately?

Seeing the image of a sexy Liz Taylor in a nursery came as a bit of a shock while going through the latest issue of Lonny magazine. As we can see in the online magazine's pages, Laura and Diego Garcias (both artists) have created a tres chic apartment in New York following five simple rules :
1. Have a theme in mind.
2. When budgeting prioritize window treatments, floors and special objects that bring life to your home.
3. Always buy vintage.
4. Cover your walls with something interesting.
5. Go crazy with your kids' room.
Needless to say that the couple has followed the last rule without deviating; they've decorated their daughter's nursery with a Russell Young portrait of Liz Taylor, which although they find "inappropriate", its a reddish-pink colour makes it too hard to resist. No comments...
