In Love with a Victorian Home in London

I'm totally in love with this amazing four-storey Victorian terraced house in West London. It is spacious, it is full of art and has a great mix of classical and retro elements in every room. AND it has an innovative Bulthaup storage system, which creates a multifunctional space that when opened up it becomes a working kitchen and when it is closed the room can go back to being an entertaining space. Genius!

Adria's Bridal Shower (with my prints)!

posted on: Thursday, 26 July 2012

Kristi emailed me a few weeks ago asking whether I could work with her on a custom print order for the bridal shower she was organizing for her friend Adria. I couldn't be more than happy to be part of such an event and created a few prints with Adria and her husband's initials and names for the special occassion. Along with them, Kristi chose a few more other prints from my etsy shop (a set of numbers which formed the date of the wedding, the Love Quotes prints and the romantic Love x 5 print) to decorate the tables of the party. As you can see from the photos that Kristi kindly shared with me, the result was gorgeous: a beautiful space, a romantic decor, amazing desserts and - above all - great friends all together to celebrate the coming wedding of Adria! Thank you Kristi! Adria is definately lucky to have such a great co-worker!

Summer Stripes

Summer Stripes

Nothing's better than a blue striped item for your summer outfits!

Striped Rooms!

How do you feel about stripes in a room? Vertical or horizontal, stripes can change the way a room looks like completely.  They can be bold and act as a focal point, but if you pay notice to these photos, the maximalist decor and the art steal the show and make the striped wallpaper look like an interesting yet simple background canvas.

I Need Your Help...

...in launching a new typography print, titled "Let's Move to London". After designing about 20 versions, I'm finally down to these two, and I can't really decide which one to choose for my etsy shop. Is it going to be No1 or No2? The difference is in the London eye image, the first one is a little bit closer to the text than the second. I'd love to get your feedback through a comment! Thank you!

A Young Collector's Home

Source: Atlanta Homes

The creative manager for Jamestown Properties, George Krauth, needed a part-time home in Atlanta and as soon as he found his idea of a gorgeous building in MidCity Lofts, he looked no further. Kruth knew that he could transform the cold, white spaces of a loft into a warm place for his mix of new and old furniture as well as his collection items. But there were a few challenges; finding the right white - for example - “took forever,” he admits. “I’d paint one wall what I thought was the perfect shade, but it was a cloudy day. Once the sun came out, I realized I needed something different—and so on.” The trial-and-error method paid off, though, resulting in a light space that beautifully showcases his possessions.
