The creative manager for
Jamestown Properties, George Krauth, needed a part-time home in
Atlanta and as soon as he found his idea of a gorgeous building in MidCity Lofts, he looked no further. Kruth knew that he could transform the cold, white spaces of a loft into a warm place for his mix of new and old furniture as well as his collection items. But there were a few challenges; finding the right white
- for example - “took forever,” he admits. “I’d paint one wall what I thought was the perfect
shade, but it was a cloudy day. Once the sun came out, I realized I needed
something different—and so on.” The trial-and-error method paid off, though,
resulting in a light space that beautifully showcases his
possessions. More photos here.
