Tamara Magel's style has been described as mod and and exotic with international influences. And this is evident in the gray apartment you see in the photos where contemporary furniture is surrounded by mod accessories, with a few ethnic touches found here and there. If you love Magel's work, check out her own eclectic products on her website!

Ron Marvin of Ron Marvi Design presents to Lonny magazine one of his favorite projects, a prewar one-bedroom Manhattan apartment which he has transformed to an art-deco gem, and gives a few styling tips for those who love his style and want to follow it:
1. Do layer your accessories.
2. Don't karate-chop the pillows.
3. Do carefully edit your spaces.
4. Don't "artfully throw" a throw.
5. Do focus on creating focal points.
