What's not to like in this dining room? The gray walls? The huge window? The amazing, non-matching chairs? The modern chandelier? Yes, this is definately a case of bad home decor envy...

Animal print doesn't belong to exotic-styled spaces only. Choose up to three animal print accessories like pillow covers or even a carpet for your room to achieve a subtle but eye-catching result. Don't forget that the zebra print is a safe(r) choice since the monochromatic stripes work well with many different colours!

I've always been fascinated by ghost stories; in fact, when I was younger I kept looking for ghost signs all around my house... And if, back then, I had found the Phantomental III Lamp somewhere in the living room I would have been convinced about their existence. The Phantomental defies the laws of physics and appears to be floating in midair. Created by the French design studio Guesner, it gives the illusion that it is being held by some eerie spirit, but in reality, a metal stand that looks like a cord is responsible for its floating appearance! It can be yours for 499 euros from the company's online store! I'm already saving up for the white version!

From top left:
1. From my Saturday visit to Zara.: One pair of beige pants for work. When it comes to workwear, beige is the black of summer.

3. Zara flats (yes beige as well, worn mostly at the office)
4. A few of my favorite bracelets - the cuff is from C.C Skye
5. Preparing to pack my "Cup of Tea Big Enough, a Book Long Enough" print for Australia
6. Taking a small break for a cup of coffee with my sister
8. MAC eyeshadows - mainly in brown hues
9. My morning coffee - the famous Greek Frappe! Want to know how to make a frappe? Check this link!

"In order to be irreplaceable one must always be different". This A4 matte print features Coco Chanel's well-known quote and is a great gift for those who admire the famous designer's personality and work! It is printed on top quality archival matte paper and it's available in two versions: a. white background, dark gray letters, and b. dark gray background, white letters. This Victorian end-of-terrace villa in north London is the perfect example of how to implement the latest trend of colour blocking in your home without the guidance of a decorator! The home owners have followed three simple rules for this: they've chosen to keep their walls white, the furniture minimal and to decorate their space using a few modern accessories in two contrasting colour, tomato red and mustard yellow. Colourblocking can be as simple as that!

While browsing ASOS' new arrivals I stumbled upon the most amazing pair of gem drop earrings in three stunning colours! I know they will be perfect for all those summer weddings and parties I've been invited to. And the best of all? At $13.92, their price is super-friendly! Now all I have to do is pick one colour...Tough choice! Which one do you suggest?
Here is what I've been working on this week (ok, this and a Coco Chanel quote - photos of that tomorrow...). Three black typography prints with one 'dynamic' verb each. They will be sold through my etsy shop in sets of three. What do you think?

Clockwis: Glasses, Peplum Top, Pearl Earrings, Capri Pants, Shoes, Watch, Handbag
The stripped peplum top from The Row has stolen my heart! It's sensible enough to be worn to work, but when combined with leather pants and high heels your look will be transformed to an epitome of downtown cool dressing!
If this is the guest room, then I would love to be invited, and stay there for a few days...Say 356 days per year?

Clockwise from top left:
1. The stack of magazines next to my bed is getting "taller"...US Vogue is -of course - on the top.
2. A clear nail polish is a must for the days (or weeks) between manicures. I got this one from H&M cause I loved the bottle design. Great packaging always has a "purchase-now" effect on me...
3. I found this quote on Bloomberg Businessweek magazine. Thought it was funny.

Via Olivia Palermo
I had to post about this shop windon I found on Olivia Palermo's blog as soon as I saw it! It's the window of Neville Hair Salon which you can find in the very chic Belgravia, London and can be described as a "mecca to hair, beauty and holistic treatments". And as a mecca to beauty, it's window is minimal, chic and features an impressive futuristic photograph of a model with Rapunzel-long platinum hair!

Walls which are covered in art make any room difficult to forget, even if it is a bathroom! If you want to copy this for your own space you don't need to break your budget with expensive pieces of art. There are many talented artists on Etsy who offer their work at very reasonable prices! And while you are on etsy, check my shop as well!
I would like to thank the wonderful blogger and amazingly talented jewelry designer, Akamatra, for featuring my work on her blog! Akamatra (her blog and etsy shop name, which in Greek is used to describe a woman who is lazy in house related chores) asked me to write the 10 things the world should know about me and my shop and I gladly accepted her invitation! I loved the result and hope you'll like it too! Don't forget to visit Akamatra's etsy shop to check out her gorgeous jewelry creations!

One of my favorite fashion blogs, The Coveteur, gets a glimpse into the house - and wardrobe - of Virginie Dhello. Dhello has worked at various fashion publications such as L’Officiel, Biba, Spur, Grazia Italy, French Glamour and nowadays she works as the fashion and accessories editor for the Parisian publication, Madame magazine – the in-flight reading material for Air France. She also dedicates her time and attention into her own personal blog, VeePost where she shares her favorite products, as well as style and beauty tips alongside interviews with friends and fellow fashion insiders. As you can see in the photos, Dhello's love for fashion and color is evident throughout her home!

Handbag, Earrings, Dress, Glasses, Necklace, Ipad Case, Flat Shoes,
A simple, straight-line dress and a pair of flat shoes can be transformed when paired with high-quality accessories like this Victoria Beckham tote and the ABS Chain Link Necklace into a stylish outfit for the office! And if the temperature at your office is quite low, add a smart cardigan like this one for warmth and more style!

This is a great example of smart interior design: the team of GRADE, a New York-based architecture and interior design firm, has created a lovely space for your friends/kids to hang out while you prepare a delicious meal in your small kitchen! Brilliant!

Red is such a powerful color, but can be a bit intimidating to wear from head to toe. A touch of one or two scarlet accessories though, will add the necessary glamour to your outfit without making you feel uncomfortable!

Aerin Lauder, the style and image director of Estee Lauder, is moving beyond the family brand into her own product line, a variety of home and fashion accessories, as well as beauty products. Though her new brand, Aerin, will be launching its first collection in a few weeks, Lauder’s offices are an urbane expression of what the brand's style will be. Her offices in Mahnattan occupy a former eight-room art gallery and will eventually house about a dozen employee. In order to create a chic and beautiful working environment Lauder invited her favorite designer, Jacques Grange, to give to the space "an underlying structure that’s clean and inviting...with colors and fabrics and textures to make it look very personal, warm, and elegant.” The result as you can see from the pages of Architectural Digest magazine is just that!
